Pyro Part II

Placing air cannon inside computer monitor to create the "Exploding computer screen" effect.
Actress with inter active computer screen lighting.
Placing fuller's earth high light to make the dust look like smoke from the explosion.
Set without actress for the explosion layer take.

Actress at computer screen. This layer of action to be blended in post with the following exploding action plate.

Exploding Computer Monitor in Confined Space

Monitor explodes with aid of air cannon, break away glass and fuller's earth. This shot and previous above shot will be combined to create the effect of actress in room at the time of the explosion.

Air Cannon Explosion Effect - Miniatures

Miniature house set up for explosion.
Final touches to detail of windows.
Gel for back light flame effect.
Last minute check before take.

Miniature house explodes with compressed air cannon and fuller's earth.
